Safe, Comfortable Boarding in Premont

We know how important it is to feel confident when leaving your pet in someone else’s care. Our boarding services at Wilkinson Veterinary Clinic in Premont are designed to provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where your pet will be well cared for by a team you trust.

Before Your Pet’s Stay

To help keep all pets safe and healthy, we require proof of current vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian:

• Dogs: Rabies, DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza), Leptospirosis, Bordetella
• Cats: Rabies, FVRCP (Feline Herpes, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia), FeLV

If your pet is medically exempt from vaccines, documentation from your veterinarian is required. You can email records ahead of time, bring a copy, or have your veterinarian send them directly to us.

What to Bring

We provide everything your pet needs for a comfortable stay, but you’re welcome to bring a few familiar items:

• Food & Treats: Please label and pre-portion meals if possible
• Medications: Must be in original packaging with instructions (additional fee may apply)
• Small Bedding or Blankets: To help your pet feel at home

If needed, we can provide a digestive-friendly, premium in-house diet at no additional cost.

What to Leave at Home

To keep things simple and safe, please do not bring:

• Leashes (we provide them)
• Toys
• Large bags of food (exceptions for extended stays)
• Handling & Safety

Our team is experienced in working with a variety of temperaments. For pets that require additional handling, a small fee may apply. If a pet cannot be safely handled, sedation may be necessary. For the safety of all animals and staff, we are unable to board aggressive or dangerous pets.

Holiday & Peak Pricing

Due to increased demand, a $3 nightly fee applies during peak times, including:
Spring Break, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas/New Year.
